Final Post: What I Learned About Blogging!

I learned that blogging can be done in many different ways and about many different things. Blogging is a way to express yourself and your opinions in a unique way. You can add pictures, stories, experiences, and more. I learned how to embed a hyperlink into text which I'm pretty excited about. I also learned what a widget is, and I found out how to use and install some off them into my blog. Blogging can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. With all the widgets and content you can add, a blog can be very exciting and interesting to follow. You just need to find a blog that is based around a topic that you like, and continue to follow the posts.

I learned that blogging may actually be a helpful tool in future work that I have to do. Not only are there very informative blogs that I can follow to stay up on the latest news, fashion, or celebrities, but also I can use my own blog to ask other people questions about any topic I wish to know about. It is useful to receive feedback from other people about a specific topic so that you can get insight on different aspects of a subject or story.

Overall, I loved my experience with using Blogger. I may even continue to build my blog, and make it more complex by learning new ways to make it exciting for other people. Plus I love sports, so I wouldn't mind writing about them from time to time!

Tebow signs with the New York Jets!

Many people were wondering what would happen to Tim Tebow after Peyton Manning signed with the Denver Broncos. The Broncos organization quickly announced that they would be trading him. Tebow ended up moving over to the New York Jets organization shocking many and causing controversy about who is the better quarterback: Tim Tebow or Mark Sanchez? According to the head coach of the Jets, Rex Ryan, Sanchez will remain the starting quarterback despite him having one of his worst seasons yet last season. It should be interesting to watch how the quarterback situation unfolds in New York next season! I can't wait to see who comes out on top!

Chipper Jones Planning to Retire

After 18 years with the Atlanta Braves, Chipper Jones has decided to retire at age 40. Jones was selected No. 1 overall in the 1990 amateur draft by the Braves and has become one of the most popular franchise players in Braves history. The third baseman has struggled with several injuries throughout the last few seasons and almost retired in 2010. He is a seven-time All-Star who will most likely end up in the Hall of Fame. No doubt the Atlanta Braves organization will miss him!

March Madness

Jared Sullinger, Ohio State's forward celebrates in the second half after his team beat top-seeded Syracuse 77-70 to advance to the Final Four. He lead his team to victory with 19 points and seven rebounds. Ohio State will play the winner of the North Carolina vs. Kansas.

Hull's Article

I learned that blogging doesn't have many laws or guidelines to be followed. This allows people to more freely talk about events, news, and controversial topics. Opinions can be boldly stated without consequences, unless the blogger is affiliated or employed by a company or corporation. This is where blogging becomes controversial, and people may be fired. Many newspapers cannot and will not publish disturbing or "frowned upon" things because there are laws that forbid them from doing so Blogging allows people to post almost anything they want to share with others. It is usually brutally opinionated and can cause heated conversation.

Hull invited me to think about how many different ways I can approach a topic through blogging. It's a chance to talk about the things important to me.
